Music In Our Lives is a unique entertaining collection of 12 vintage style musical shows developed by the Rella Braithwaite Black History Foundation.   Each show combines Black history with music, and includes interviews with famous personalities from the past, musical vintage performances, as well as performances by featured contemporary African-Canadian performers.

The Foundation hopes that you will join our circle together as we explore this interesting musical look to the past.

We’ll be bringing you a little entertainment, a little music history, and looking into the lives of some of our esteemed famous entertainers from many different musical styles who have reached international fame and brought such great music into our lives. Musical greats featured on Music In Our Lives include:   

Charley Pride, Mahalia Jackson, Duke Ellington, The Mighty Sparrow, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, Fats Domino, Desmond Dekker, Dinah Washington, The Nicholas Brothers, Ska Music Special

All age groups will enjoy the shows, and we especially are reaching out to  the elder population, family  members, and caregivers caring for those living with dementia or Alzheimer's.  Welcome to the portal for Music In Our Lives, twelve half hour entertaining shows that utilize music and Black history as the starting point for support, enjoyment and inspiration.
